I joined Kiwanis as a Member of CKI while attending Trent University as a way to connect with my new community. I quickly fell in love with Kiwanis and the organization's mission to help children thrive. Many communities lack the resources they need to help their children to grow and succeed. Kiwanis aims to assist our youth in gaining access to the tools and experiences they need in order to become the strong, healthy leaders of tomorrow.

Kids need compassion. Kids need to feel supported. Kids need leaders and cheerleaders,

mentors and role models, advocates and allies.

I am Greg.

I am seventy-eight years of age and have been a Kiwanian (with one ten year pause) since my early twenties.

As Club Secretary, I see the many positive impacts of our Club, whether it be our benefit to the community or the social involvement of our members.

Friendship and satisfying volunteer service is the combination that I enjoy as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains.

We have an amazing group of like minded, down to earth people that like to have fun raising money to help make a difference in children's lives.

Our children are the future, so for me being a Kiwanian is very special.

It gives me the opportunity to help our youngsters in many different ways, in ways I never thought possible, both in our community and all around the world.

This is an amazing organization! I am thankful to be a part of it.

I am a devoted and enthusiastic member of Kiwanis. As a Kiwanian, I join with a worldwide community of citizens united because of a shared concern for the well being of children. In a world where there are so many challenges facing our children and their families, I deeply appreciate that we provide and develop support resources for the personal, intellectual, spiritual, social, and citizenship growth of our children – locally & globally.

We do all of this as a TEAM - Together Everyone Accomplishes More

Kiwanis is a great place to meet people from near and far, to learn, to be challenged, to laugh, to have fun, to feel like I can make a difference.

Kids need Kiwanis, and Kiwanis needs you!
