SUCCESS
SERVING THE CHILDREN OF OUR COMMUNITY AND AROUND THE WORLD
One Project at a Time
SERVICE
Children everywhere are in need of compassion, encouragement, advocacy, and strong role models.
Kiwanis clubs worldwide host over 150,000 service projects each year, projects that positively impact our youth. Some of these projects include community cleanups, reading and breakfast programs, mentorship programs, and funding new playground equipment, school supplies, and even schools.
LEADERSHIP
Leaders come in all different sizes! Kiwanis empowers members of all ages to share innovative ways to improve the communities and lives of children everywhere.
From conferences and workshops to leading committees and organizing events, Kiwanians of all ages encounter many opportunities to utilize, strengthen, and learn new leadership skills.
FELLOWSHIP
Kiwanians around the world are bonded by a mutual interest in helping children thrive. Regular club meetings encourage members to meet and connect with others in their community who share a passion for helping our youth find their potential. Conferences and workshops provide opportunities for members to make connections world-wide.

First Lemonade Day a Sweet Success!
The Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains celebrated the success of its inaugural Lemonade Stand Day on Sunday. Funds from the event will go toward the $1.5 million Rotary Accessible Playground at Riverview Park and Zoo.
Lemonade Stand Day took place on Aug. 23, with the efforts of 33 youth and their families raising $15,000.
“The priority was for Lemonaders to have fun and the feedback we have received about Lemonade Stand Day has been wonderful,” stated Greg McLeod, secretary of the Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains, in a press release. “The Lemonaders are already looking forward to next year, and so are we.”
